03 / プロジェクト基本情報
介入手法Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships (AAPS) is a multi-country initiative that provides for developing country nationals to tertiary education in Pacific institutions every year. Study areas are based on respective Pacific countries Government's priority areas as well as those of the Australian Aid program. In many of these countries there are no universities located within country and this program forms an important part of each country's overall tertiary training needs. Previous scholars now hold important roles in government and industry. The program collaborates closely with the New Zealand program as well as the respective Pacific Islands Government's own scholarships program. The total value of Australia's contribution to this investment is $10.1 million over 9 years, starting 2017-18.
